Colombia

On February 7th we traveled to Colombia to spend 10 days visiting Mario's family. This was Colin's first plane ride and first trip anywhere. We flew from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale, FL early on Tuesday morning and then flew from Ft. Lauderdale to Armenia, Colombia. Colin did amazing on the flights and we were so surprised and impressed with how well he traveled.

We had a great time during our 10-day trip. We spent lots of time with family and friends, ate yummy food, and had lots of new experiences with our little boy. As soon as we got to Colombia, Colin started showing off and rolling everywhere. We had originally planned for him to sleep in the bed with me, but we ended up having to borrow a PackNPlay for him to sleep in because we were afraid he'd roll off of the bed! He also learned how to crawl while we were there! I was so glad that Mario's parents got to see him accomplish these new milestones.

After 10 days, we made the long journey home. It wasn't quite as smooth leaving Colombia because their security took forever and they went through all of our luggage multiple times. We left around 1:00 pm and after 2 flights we finally made it home at 1:00 am. Colin did great once again and we couldn't have asked for a better outcome for his first trip. We hope this means that he will be a good traveler and we can take him to lots of new places.

Here are just a few of the pictures from our trip:
