Our big little boy is 8 months old! He turned 8 months old while we were on our trip to Colombia so his photoshoot and this update were a little delayed. He is growing up so fast and he's so much fun. He is doing so many new things lately. Here are a just a few:
-He weighs about 21 pounds based on our scale at home.-He can pull up to stand.-He started making this face where he looks all surprised and his mouth is in an "O" shape. He did it for the first time when my dad came over the night before our trip since he was taking us to the airport in the morning. Colin was about to go to bed and I guess my dad showing up so late surprised him. He just kept looking and his Paw Paw and making that face. It was so funny!
-He's finally rolling both ways. It took him forever to roll from back to tummy. He decided to accomplish this the first night we got to Colombia while he was on the bed. Then he kept rolling all night. The next day we had to go out and borrow a Pack N Play for him to sleep in for the rest of the trip.
-He can feed himself puffs with pretty decent accuracy now.
-He learned how to crawl while we were in Colombia. Here's a video:
-He's a lot more interested in solids and eats them 2-3 times a day.
-He is still sleeping through the night at home and slept pretty well during our trip to Colombia.
-In addition to his 2 bottom teeth, he is now cutting his upper "fang" teeth.
-He does this cute plank position with his booty in the air.
-He got his first mini haircut. We cut the little piece of hair that stuck out 2+ inches further than the rest of his hair on his right side.
-He isn't saying any words, but he makes his "hey" noise and a "roar" sound:
