37 Weeks!

This past Tuesday I had a doctor's appointment and ultrasound to see how things are going! They did the ultrasound to see how big the baby is. According to the measurements, he was about 7 pounds which is in the 70th percentile. The ultrasound tech also pointed out that he had some hair on his head! My doctor checked me and was pleased that I had made some progress since last week. I was between 1 and 2cm dilated, 60% effaced, and the baby was head down at -2 station.

Thursday I turned 37 weeks which is a big milestone since that is considered full term. That means that if the baby were to come now, his lungs should be fully developed and they wouldn't do anything to stop labor. I'm hoping to get him to at least 38-39 weeks though.

Today was also a big day because I finished my last day with students at Whitewater. This school year went by so fast! It was a great school year and I'm really going to miss my co-workers and students. I got all of my grades completed and my room packed up *just in case.* I have 2 workdays next week and then I'll be done! We're hoping to just enjoy a nice and relaxing Memorial Day weekend!
