We had a great day for Colin's first Thanksgiving. He started off the day by putting on his turkey shirt the I won in my friend Cheri's giveaway for her etsy shop. We then packed up the car and headed to Barnesville and Thomaston. We stopped by my dad's first to drop of Ruby and GiGi. They hadn't been to their grandparents' house since the baby was born, so we figured we would take them along for the trip. We headed to Thomaston and dropped by my sister Elizabeth's house to say hello since she cooked a Thanksgiving meal at her house and she wouldn't be at the other Thanksgiving dinners we were going to.
After we left her house we went to my Maw Maw's new house to eat with my mom's side of the family. We had a yummy lunch with them and visited for a while. Then we headed back to Barnesville to put Colin down for a nap at my dad's before our meal with him.
Colin was worn out and took a nice nap and once he woke up it was time for round 2! We had dinner with my dad, Cecilia, and Grandmas and were somehow able to eat more despite our feast just a few hours before! After a few hours we loaded everything up in the car and headed back to Newnan.
We had a great day of family, food and fun. We have so much to be thankful for this year: family, friends, jobs, and our home. We are the most thankful that we have our son who is perfect and healthy and who brings so much joy to our lives!
