2 Months Old!

Today is August 10th and my baby boy is 2 months old! Time has flown by and he changes every day! He had a doctor's appointment last Friday when he was 8 weeks old. He was 13 pounds, 10 ounces and 23 inches long! He is a BIG boy! We did confirm that he's having some reflux issues, so he's on medicine for that. We're hoping it gets better with the medicine and hopefully he'll outgrow it soon. Here are some of the things he is doing lately:

• sleeping a 5-hour stretch, then he eats and sleeps another 3-4 hours (most nights)
• nursing like a champ!
• loves his paci (finally! we had to buy 5 different brands before we found one he likes)
• smiling
• cooing
• drooling and blowing spit bubbles
• taking good naps in the afternoon
• playing on his activity mat
• holding his head up and moving it around great
• sitting up in his Bumbo seat
• following mommy, daddy, and the dogs with his eyes
• wearing cloth diapers almost exclusively and squeezing into size 1 disposables
• wearing size 0-3 months clothes
• starting to roll from tummy to back with some assistance (the doctor said it sometimes takes bigger babies long since they have more weight to roll)
• moving his hands like crazy and grabbing everything in sight like his ears, mommy's hair, mommy's shirts, and blankets
• kicking his feet, especially when he's mad
• loving bath time and stating to splash with his hands and feet
• bouncing himself in his bouncy seat
• playing with mommy and daddy for a while after he eats
• riding in the Ergo carrier when we go to the store and on walks
• loving white noise and being swaddled - it really helps him settle down when he's cranky
• falling asleep with his blankie over his eyes because he won't close his eyes because he thinks he'll miss something
• letting Ruby and GiGi give him kisses
